Terms of Use

Version 3, last updated October 5, 2026

The Short Version

Trussly does math. It doesn't know your site, your loads, your local code, or your products. You decide whether and how to use any result, and you're responsible for that decision. Creayo LLC isn't responsible for what you build, buy, bid, or install. If you don't agree to every term below, don't use the app. This summary doesn't limit the terms that follow.

Acceptance and Changes

By installing, opening, or using any part of Trussly, including through Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, widgets, exports, or any other integration, you agree to these terms. We may change these terms, the app, its formulas, data, prices, and features at any time, with or without notice. Changes take effect when posted in the app or on our website. If you keep using Trussly after a change, you accept it. We may also require you to accept updated terms before you continue using the app.

License

Creayo LLC grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Trussly on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Usage Rules. We own the app, its formulas, tables, text, design, and data. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from any part of it, or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend or end your license at any time if you break these terms.

What Trussly Is

Trussly is a general-purpose math and reference tool. It is not engineering, architectural, design, inspection, or code-compliance software, and it does not produce engineered designs, stamped calculations, load calculations required for permits, or permit documents. Nothing in the app is professional, legal, engineering, or licensed-trade advice.

Code References and Editions

Code-based calculators refer to model codes published by the International Code Council and the National Fire Protection Association, generally the 2021 IRC, 2021 IPC, 2021 IFGC, and the NEC edition those codes are based on. Your jurisdiction may use a different edition, local amendments, or different interpretations. A code reference is not a statement that anything complies with any code. Your building official, approved plans, engineer, and manufacturers' instructions control over anything in the app.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your inputs, for choosing a calculator that fits your situation, for checking every result independently, for hiring licensed professionals where required, for getting permits and inspections, and for every decision you make and every action you take using the app. You must not rely on Trussly as the sole or primary basis for any construction, electrical, plumbing, gas, mechanical, structural, purchasing, bidding, or safety decision.

Estimates, Quantities, and Prices

All quantities, costs, and prices are estimates for convenience only. Built-in prices are approximate, may be outdated, and are not offers, quotes, or guarantees. Cost totals include only the items listed. We are not responsible for over-ordering, under-ordering, bids, contract prices, or any financial outcome.

Exports and Shared Results

Anything you export, print, copy, or share from Trussly carries these terms. Exports are personal worksheets, not engineered or permit documents. If you give an export to anyone, you are responsible for its use, and you agree that they have no rights against us because of it.

Camera, Voice, and Siri

Camera measurement is approximate and can be off by inches or more. Speech recognition can mishear numbers and units. Siri and Shortcuts results are shortened and omit formulas and warnings. Verify every measurement and recognized value before using it.

No Duty to Update or Support

We have no obligation to update, correct, maintain, or support Trussly, to keep any feature available, or to notify you of errors. Features, data storage, Siri, camera measurement, and voice input may fail, change, lose data, or stop working at any time. Keep your own records.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them for any purpose without obligation to you.

No Warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITECALC AND EVERYTHING IN IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. CREAYO LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY FORMULA, TABLE, CODE REFERENCE, PRICE, MEASUREMENT, OR RESULT IS CORRECT, CURRENT, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, CREATES ANY WARRANTY.

Assumption of Risk

CONSTRUCTION, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, GAS, AND MECHANICAL WORK ARE DANGEROUS. ERRORS IN A CALCULATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE APP, YOUR INPUT, OR MISAPPLICATION, CAN CAUSE STRUCTURAL FAILURE, FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, FLOODING, GAS LEAKS, CARBON MONOXIDE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, INJURY, OR DEATH. YOU KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SITECALC AND ANY RESULT FROM IT.

Release

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE CREAYO LLC AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS (THE "RELEASED PARTIES") FROM ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND DAMAGES OF EVERY KIND, KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SITECALC, ANY RESULT FROM IT, OR ANY DECISION MADE USING IT, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THE RELEASED PARTIES' NEGLIGENCE. IF YOU ARE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT, YOU WAIVE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE SECTION 1542, WHICH SAYS: "A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY." YOU WAIVE ANY SIMILAR LAW OF ANY OTHER JURISDICTION.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, COSTS OF REWORK, REPLACEMENT MATERIALS, DELAY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SITECALC, UNDER ANY THEORY, INCLUDING CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, AND PRODUCT LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. THE RELEASED PARTIES' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS OF EVERY KIND, COMBINED, WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SITECALC. THESE LIMITS APPLY EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, AND THEY ARE AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE PRICE.

Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, demands, suits, losses, damages, fines, penalties, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses, including attorneys' and expert fees, arising from or related to your use of Trussly, any result or export from it, any work you perform, sell, or permit using it, any third party's reliance on your use of it, or your breach of these terms. We may control the defense of any claim at your expense, and you may not settle any claim affecting us without our written consent.

Applicable Law Limits

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, releases, or limits. Where that's the case, each one applies to the maximum extent the law allows, and the Released Parties' liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Except for individual small-claims actions and claims for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, any dispute arising from or related to Trussly or these terms will be resolved only by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with fees allocated as those rules require. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides all issues except that a court decides the enforceability of the class action waiver. Hearings will be held by video or written submissions unless the arbitrator requires otherwise. YOU AND CREAYO LLC WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR ARBITRATION. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against us by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, they will be administered in batches of 25, and only one batch at a time will proceed. Before filing, you must send a written notice of your claim to legal@creayodev.com and allow 60 days to resolve it informally. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in the courts listed under Governing Law and Venue, and this section remains in effect for every other claim.

Time Limit for Claims

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SITECALC MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO IT, OR IT IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

Governing Law and Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and waive any objection to venue.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Trussly for a business, you agree to these terms on behalf of that business too, and both of you are bound.

Apple

These terms are between you and Creayo LLC only, not Apple. Creayo LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for Trussly and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Creayo LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property infringement claims. You represent that you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and you're not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

General

We may assign these terms or any rights under them without notice; you may not assign them. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest stays in effect. Sections that by their nature should survive (including License restrictions, No Warranty, Assumption of Risk, Release, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Arbitration, Time Limit, and Governing Law) survive any termination. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Except for Apple as described above, no third party has rights under these terms. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about Trussly and replace all earlier versions and communications. Headings are for convenience only.
