The Short Version
Trussly has no accounts, ads, or analytics, and we can't see what you do in the app. The only thing the app ever sends us is an optional creator referral code, described below.

What We Collect
Trussly has no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no user accounts. Every calculation runs entirely on your device. The only data we collect is described below.
Creator Referral Codes
If you enter a creator code (on the first onboarding screen or later in Settings), the app sends the following once to our server: the creator code you entered, a one-way hash of your App Store purchase identifier (not the identifier itself), your app version, and your device locale. We use this solely to count how many people used each creator's code so we can pay them. We don't store your name, email, Apple ID, location, or any other personal information. We don't use the purchase hash to identify you, and it isn't linked to any other data. This data is sent once and is not updated afterward. To have it deleted, email privacy@creayodev.com with the creator code you used.
Data Storage
Your saved jobs, calculations, photos, and price overrides are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not synced to iCloud or sent to us. If your device backs up to iCloud, Apple's device backup may include it, under Apple's terms. We don't access, process, or store it.
Photos
Photos you attach to saved calculations are re-encoded on import, which removes EXIF metadata (location, timestamps). The processed photos are stored in the app's local storage (not your Photo Library) and stay on your device.
Voice Input and Siri
Voice recognition uses Apple's Speech framework. On supported devices (A12 chip or later with the on-device model downloaded), speech is processed entirely on your device. On older devices or when the on-device model isn't available, Apple processes speech audio on their servers per Apple's privacy policy. When you use Trussly through Siri or Apple Shortcuts, Apple processes your voice input through their Siri pipeline. We don't receive, store, or have access to any voice or Siri interaction data.
Camera (AR Measurement)
The AR measurement feature accesses your camera through Apple's ARKit framework. Camera data is processed on-device in real time. No images or measurement data are stored or transmitted. The app requests camera permission before first use.
Spotlight Search
Trussly indexes calculator names and descriptions into your device's Spotlight search index so you can find calculators from your home screen. This data contains no personal information. It stays on your device.
Material Prices
The price database is bundled with the app. Your custom price overrides are stored locally on your device. No pricing data is sent to any server.
Third-Party Services
Trussly uses zero third-party analytics tools, crash reporters, or ad networks. Creator referral codes are processed through Supabase (supabase.com), a hosted database service. No other external services are used.
This Website
This website (not the app) uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors; Vercel processes the request data under its own privacy policy. The website has no accounts and no forms that collect personal information. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.
Cookies and Tracking
Trussly doesn't use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, or any tracking technology.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is stored locally until you delete it. You can delete individual jobs and calculations within the app. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. We can't access or delete that data because we never receive it. Creator referral records are kept as long as needed to pay creators and are deleted on request.
Children's Privacy
Trussly is intended for users age 18 and older, as stated in our Terms of Use. The app has no accounts or analytics. Apart from an optional creator code, it doesn't send us anything.
Data Security
Your local data is protected by your device's built-in encryption (iOS Data Protection).
Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for storing your data locally is performance of the contract between you and Creayo LLC when you use the app (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and similar laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Trussly stores your data on your device. We can't directly access this data. To exercise your rights: delete individual items within the app, or contact us at privacy@creayodev.com and we'll assist where technically possible.
Do Not Sell or Share
We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act. We don't engage in targeted advertising, profiling, or cross-context behavioral advertising. We have no personal information to sell or share.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be included in an app update.
